The City of New Richmond has graciously dedicated the space outside the Library to this project, and it is the responsibility of Willow River Garden Club to create and sustain the garden.

Thanks to our early-phase donors, we have been able to work with Patriot Lawn Works to install a raised garden bed (30’ x 4’), a sidewalk, and the concrete pad (12’x12’).

We are raising funds to complete the project, including the installation of trap stone, mulch, and edging. Once that is completed, we will plant a prairie garden and build the pergola, memorial benches and water feature.

Donations are needed to:

• Install a 12’x12’ Pergola ($3,000)

• Install two memorial benches ($2,200) to offer a place for visitors to read, rest, and relax under the pergola

• Add a water feature ($4,000) that will create a sense of tranquility to the garden

• Complete the landscaping work, including purchase of trap stone, mulch, edging, etc ($3,400).

Donors of $500 and over will be recognized in signage within the garden.
